Your customers expect more...

Discerning shoppers who make the effort to support their local butcher and foodies wishing to dine out at their local restaurant and have something in common, they expect something a little different and something special.  Today's public want real welfare not perceptions, they want their meal prepared by a chef who knows the farm the meat has come from and they want to shop with the butcher who's actually been to see the pigs with his or her own eyes.

It's not just pork it's 'Blythburgh Free Range Pork reared on the sandy soils of the Suffolk coast...'

Many butchers and chefs have very little to say about the pork they use, so they tend to focus on the virtues of their beef and lamb instead.  Well we think you should be shouting about your pork too, and if you use Blythburgh pork you can.  Pork is the most eaten meat in the world for a reason, it's the most versatile, provides the best value and returns the most profit so make your pork a focal point by stocking free range!!  British pigs are reared in the best welfare conditions in the world, Blythburgh Free Range Pork is simply the best of British, so don't forget to tell your customers all about us.

Totally traceable back to our farm...

All our free range pigs are tattooed with own own exclusive holding number, SLO990, when they leave our farm to go to slaughter.  At the abattoir that number is independently checked and the pig's carcass is roller-stamped from head to tail with the Blythburgh name.  The roller-stamp can be seen by the butcher and chef, but also the consumer when looking in the butcher's counter.  If it's not got the roller-stamp then it's not Blythburgh Free Range Pork.
